Bonniebrook Lodge - A West Coast Treasure
Run by the Chaster family in the early 1900’s as a hotel, it was originally called The Gower Point Lodge. The family created a thriving accommodation and services business in the first half of the century. The Lodge has changed hands several times over the years however, the Chaster family in a demonstration of generosity, donated part of their oceanfront property to the province to be used as a provincial Park. The Chaster service legacy continues on as guests of the Bonniebrook lodge still use the Chaster property for their holiday. Learn more about Bonniebrook Lodge's history.
The Lodge is located on 1532 Ocean Beach Esplanade at the end of and off Gower Point Road in Gibsons, BC... a 15 minute drive from the Langdale Ferry terminal and just 9 minutes from downtown Gibsons.
Hosts Lina Jakobs and Mark Darlington, accommodation rental business owners from Whistler, have recently bought the Lodge and Restaurant as their 'dream business'. Lina and Mark are dedicated to offering Bonniebrook Lodge as the ultimate Sunshine Coast accommodation and dining experience... a lodge dedicated to magical days and romantic, fun-filled evenings.
