Chapman Creek Fish Hatchery
The hatchery is dedicated to increasing salmon stock in local waters. See how young fish, referred to as smolt, are raised and released. Educational presentations, hands-on displays and knowledgeable staff make this a great learning experience for all ages. School groups are welcome. Open seven days a week from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Sechelt Indian Band Salmon Hatchery
Run by the Native Sechelt band, this hatchery annually releases millions of Coho and Chinook into Sechelt Inlet yearly. The hatchery is open for public tours, seven days a week from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Sunshine Coast Museum & Archives
A local treasure. Find out how Gibsons got its name or where the first sauna bath on the Coast came from. The museum hosts an excellent photo archive. Summer hours run Mon - Sat, 11a.m. to 5p.m. with, admission by donation.
